Syracuse bounced back from its first loss of the season with two good wins against Cincinnati & West Virginia. Kentucky picked up two road wins against lower tier SEC teams in Georgia & LSU. 2 seeds: North Carolina, Kansas, Michigan St, Missouri

North Carolina beat NC State at home and routed Ga. tech on the road. Kansas who always struggles at Iowa St was the latest top team to see a court storming in person. St, but still can hang their hat on huge road win at Baylor last week.

UNLV continues to lead a underrated Mountain West Conference and their win over North Carolina in November will be huge for them come March. Vanderbilt continues to improve and schedule sets up nicely for at least third place in the SEC.

St. Mary's leads a deep West Coast Conference, their showdown at Gonzaga on Feb 9 will go a long way to determine their seed.
